About Yelena Akhumova:
Yelena Akhumova was born and raised in Russia. Having graduated from one of
the finest art and design schools in St. Petersburg (then Leningrad), she
exhibited her work across the Soviet Union and taught ceramics in a
Moscow Art school.

When she met Svetlana Shalumova several years ago, Yelena was intrigued by her
designs. They decided to combine their aesthetic experience in order to
experiment with both classical patterns and new styles, all the while
remaining attentive to the needs and desires of their clients.
Together, they create compelling evening wear and summer clothes, as well as
accessories that can be used to enliven existing wardrobe. All of the silk
paintings are handmade and absolutely unique, ensuring that every customer
receives the designers' fullest attention. The silk itself, though delicate,
can be both washed and ironed.
